296. Bach, Vivaldi and the the Orphan Girls Orchestra in Venice

And after they saw this Peony Gondola Vision Palma said to his Pigeon:

»Palmina, the little sweet bird in the morning said to me that you performed my composition LAKE yesterday! Did you, Palmina…?
I felt in my heart that you played for me…«

Palmina smiled and was happy that Palma could feel her music secret surprise.

He took her hands and kissed her talented hands tender and thankfully.
Palmina’s eyes shined and she felt that Palma wants to heal her hands.
Palma il Giovane could feel in the last days that she had pains on her hands because she prepared hard for this concert.

And during these days he could also feel her tender cheek kisses as he slept and he could feel it in his dreams.

And after that Palmina smiled and hugged Palma and gave him a sweet tender kiss on his cheek – in their Peony Gondola hour at 23 p.m. During this they suddenly continued to see the Peony Gondola vision with Bach in Venice in the 18th century:

They saw the stars over Venice at the evening sky and they saw this evening Master Johann Sebastian Bach alone with his wife in a huge Gondola.
After the brilliant concert at the ‚Ospedale de la Pieta Girls Orchestra‘ with Vivaldi’s »Gloria« they are all (Bach, his family, Vivaldi and his girls orchestra) invited together with the girls at Giudecca island at a Chinese family, which came once in the 16th century and are living there.
They know a lot of stories about Marco Polo and his Asian Princess and of course a lot of stories about Palmina and Palma. And they are interested in Asian music instruments and of course asian tea.

On their way to Giudecca Island Bach said to his wife: »Maestro Vivaldi’s Girls Orchestra and Choir are brilliant. Should we move to Asia or to Venice, hmm? If I could have such brilliant musicians for my compositions, Anna Magdalena…? This would be a miracle!«, Bach said a little bit sad.

»Yes, this would be a miracle.
Hmmm, but a miracle happened, dear Johann Sebastian…
It happened:
Vivaldis orphan music school girls performed with padre Maestro Vivaldi all your missa brevis¹):

the missa brevis G-Major,
the missa brevis in g-minor,
the missa brevis in F-Major and
the mystic missa brevis in A-Major with Flauto traverso *)

Ach, so beautiful compositions, Johann Sebastian.«, Anna Magdalena said with a sigh in her voice.

They heard the La Pieta Girls Choir and orchestra singing Bach’s composition in a vision and they saw Vivaldi conducting in Venice and it was like this:

»Yes, this was a miracle. Initially I composed this short missa brevis for Franz Anton von Sporck ²) and his ‚Sporck theatre‘. Like a miracle my compositions came in the hands of Antonio Vivaldi in Venice…«, Johann Sebastian said smiling and he put his strong huge arm around his little Anna Magdalena Bach smiling.

»Yes, Johann Sebastian, padre Maestro Vivaldi had good connections to Franz Anton von Sporck and he met him several times as his La Pieta Girls Orchestra gave concerts there in Prague…«, Anna said proud.

»Yes, they performed my compositions in Prague and Venice, yes a miracle…
Thank you Santa Lucia !!! Tomorrow we have to visit the chiesa of Santa Lucia also to visit the Santa-Lucia-paintings of Palma il Giovane there«, he said and searched his Mandolin.

All the Gondola’s are now moving at this evening to Giudecca Island with Bach, Vivaldi and the whole talented girls from the La Pieta Orphan shelter music school Orchestra.
They are all invited to the old Chinese Families to a Tea ceremony concert in their big gardens in Venice to hear the Yin-Yang-Chinese-Garden-Orchestra. And all are looking forward to have this Asian Tea and to hear the original Asian Music Instruments.

* * *

And after they saw this Peony Gondola Vision:

Palmina smiled and Palma knew which music piece will be performed at this Chinese concert.

Palma smiled secretly and shy.

»Palma?

Hm, why are you smiling so shy? Palmaaaa? Hmm? «

And they saw the Asian Trigram on the heaven and the heaven was pink with white clouds:

☱ – LAKE- DUI – THE JOYOUS

Now a voice said in ancient old Chinese language style:

» 說萬物者莫說乎澤 –
Of all that forces that GIVE JOY things,
there is no more gladdening than the LAKE ☱ «

»Oh, Palma!«

»Oh, Palmina!«

»Pi-«

»-Pa«

and now they made both a round mouth, moved them to each other mouths
and said together:
»Liu – to – kiss«

And then they kissed sweet and short and smiled.

¹) Bach’s Kyrie–Gloria masses, BWV 233–236 – Wikipedia – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kyrie%E2%80%93Gloria_masses,_BWV_233%E2%80%93236#BWV_234

»Apart from the 1733 Missa in B minor for the Dresden court (later incorporated in the Mass in B minor), Johann Sebastian Bach wrote four further Kyrie–Gloria Masses, BWV 233–236. These compositions, consisting of the first two sections of the Mass ordinary (i.e. the Kyrie and the Gloria), have been indicated as Missae breves (Latin for „short masses“) or Lutheran Masses. They seem to have been intended for liturgical use, considering a performance time of about 20 minutes each, the average duration of a Bach cantata. They may have been composed around 1738/39.[1] Possibly they were written for Count Franz Anton von Sporck² or performed by him in Lysá.«

²) Franz Anton von Sporck – Wikipedia – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franz_Anton_von_Sporck

»Franz Anton von Sporck, Count (Franz Anton Reichsgraf von Sporck in German, František Antonín hrabě Špork in Czech) (born 9 March 1662 in Lysá nad Labem or Heřmanův Městec; died 30 March 1738 in Lysá nad Labem) was a German-speaking literatus and patron of the arts who lived in the province of Bohemia in what is now the Czech Republic. He was one of the most notable cultural and intellectual figures in central Europe in the early 18th century. «

»…attracting some of the most prominent singers in Italy to Prague, and used Antonio Vivaldi as a source of repertory and singers. VIVALDI himself visited Prague in the early 1730s as a result of his connections with the Sporck theater. Many creative operatic works were first performed in the Sporck theater, including the first opera to use the original settings and character names from the tradition of Don Juan dramatizations:«

146. The Peony Rose Music Dialogue

146. The Peony Rose Music Dialogue

And they saw in their Peony vision:

Emperor Rudolf II said to Ludevit:
»Oh, I think Jacopo Palma il Giovane will understand that you want to paint landscapes on far places, like Moon, Mars, Saturn. I think he is the right man.
It is told that he helped once El Greco to keep ongoing to paint in his own painting style as he learned at Master Titian in Venice. Palma helped him and said to him that he is on the right way…«.

Ludevit was a little bit shy. He has so much respect of Palma il Giovane, he is so well known in whole Europe and also in Asia and China.
Even his music is loved by the people there.

Emperor Rudolf II continued speaking slow an wise: »He will sure teach you in painting these ideas. Why not, he is a very tolerant Master…He is well educated…He knows a lot of old traditions, cultures and religions. He spoke with Chinese, Asian, Buddhist, Taoist, Lutheran, Christians, Muslims, Jewish…I think as Venetian Citizen he will also understand that you love to learn painting planets and planets-landscapes…Ludevit, try it.. I send you to him.«.
Ludevit made a respectful gesture and went slowly backwards to show his respect to the Emperor Rudolf II who is collecting arts from all over Europe and the whole world.
»Ah, Ludevit…«.
Ludevit stopped moving.

»Ludevit… I want some paintings from Master Palma il Giovane…and, and I want later to come to Venice to see and to hear the performance of the «Peony Gondola Song» in the San Marco Cathedral to hear our famous Choir from Podebrad.«

Ludevit smiled, nodded and went slowly respectfully backwards.

* * *

As Palmina saw this Peony Vision she said full of joy:

»Oh my Palma. My composer… Isn’t it amazing… They will come to play your compositions – Our Love Song in Venice!!! Oh Palma….«
»Oh Palmina. I want to hold you in my arms and kiss your cheeks and your talented hands!«

»Oh Palmina, I want to make with you a music Dialogue. You and me.
I play some notes on my Viola and you play some answer on your Lute…«
»Oh this would be fine…and the Peony Gondola will transmit our tones so we can hear each other. A music from heart – to heart«

Palma kissed her cheek and she kissed also his cheek and they saw a Vision on a Peony Rose and they heard a music dialogue like that:

And Palma saw how lucky Palmina smiled as she heard his unique love declaration to her. She looked so happy and he said:
»Oh, Palmina stay in this position, I will paint you as L’Assunta once as the saint Virgin who is lucky to be loved by the heaven…Don’t move. I make fast some drawings…wait, wait, Palmina…yes, yes and the hands, stay like that…«

»Oh, Palma, my love, you will really paint me again as saint Virgin in your artwork?«
»Yes, I love you and you look so lucky and I like that.«

Palmina smiled to her Palma and suddenly the Peony Gondola moved up to the stars.

»Oh, look we are travelling along the stars on the night sky over Venice, Palma. Isn’t that fantastic? Wooooo!!! How beautiful.«

The soft tender wind moved their hairs a little bit, but they did not feel the immense speed the Peony-Gondola has now.

»Yes, you are right, Palmina. Look, there is the moon, here is planet Mercury, planet Venus… oh the sphere of the Sun and, and look…there is planet Mars!!!«

The Gondola moved along the surface of the red-orange Planet Mars and they saw a Landscape coming nearer and nearer.

picture - painting of Mars Landscape.png

picture 2 – painting landscapes on planet Mars

»Huo Xing! This is the Fire Planet! Planet Mars! Look it is so red-orange!«

Palmina put her head on Palma’s strong shoulder.
Palma put his strong arm around her and kissed her head. Yes, he loves her.

Palmina took her Pipa Lute and said: »Look there is a little city down there! Is it the palace of the Mars princess?…I have to play the composition THUNDER to sent a music greeting to them like on the moon…«

Palma could read in her heart. He felt that she wants to play with him the Solo Nr.4 »Thunder« for Pipa and Viola which describes also the philosophic meaning of Planet Mars – or after Dante – the Sphere of Planet Mars.

»Yes, my beloved Palmina it looks very interesting here. Maybe a palace of the Mars princess?«

Now he took also his music instrument, his Viola da braccio and played in this moment his Eurasian composition:

After they made this music flying slowly over the »Sciaparelli« crater of Planet Mars they saw in their Vision at their Peony Gondola this during 23rd h (11 p.m.-11:59 p.m.):

* * *

A Varanguard was sent to Prague at Emperor Rudolf II.

They saw that there is a painting by Palma il Giovane (see picture 1) which Rudolf II ordered before 1590.

They saw also that Rudolf II gave a personal message to the Republic of Venice telling them that he will send a fine Choir from Podebrad to Venice to sing the »Peony Gondola Song« and »Saint Nepomuk Mass in G-Major« composed by Palma il Giovane.
They will perform Palma’s music artworks at the Cathedral of San Marco in Venice as an intercultural peace message to the Republic of Venice.

And Rudolf II send a painter Named Ludevit*) which wants to study at Venice at Master Palma il Giovane to learn painting special landscapes. Palma il Giovane is the Master who once helped El Grecco to find his own way in art during his 4 years of study at the Titian Art School at Master Titian. (Palma was very diplomatic and helped to harmonize the little unspoken conflict between Master Titian and El Greco)

*) Ludevit is one of the main figures of the Novel »Oncle Willy back to Earth«
There are some connections between the Novel »Palma il Giovane – The Peony Gondola«.

»Oh, look, Palma…look this fantastic Peony Vision…what a big honour…They like your music, Palma. I am so looking forward to hear your Peony Gondola Song… You performed it once at the San Marco Place here in Venice on my birthday with 30 Gondoliers and all artists from Venice… By the way,… it was really a secret birthday celebration…and a big surprise for me…my Palma! All in Venice are knowing now the Peony-Gondola-Song since that day…«

Palma smiled shy, because he remembers also that beautiful evening concert in Venice for Palmina.
