364 . The Marco Polo Dialogue

364 . The Marco Polo Dialogue

picture 01 - Palma_il_Giovane_-_Doge_Pietro_Loredan_Beseeching_the_Virgin.jpg

picture 1 – painting by Palma il Giovane (Palazzo Ducale in Venice)   „Doge Pietro Loredan Beseeching the Virgin“ (Palmina as model)

After they dreamed this Peony Gondola Vision they continued to dream like that:

Every day Palmina appeared as Pigeon in his daily life and he feels that she is helping him like an angel.

Sometimes she asked the saint virgin that sometimes on the sky there is a little heart formed from clouds.
If Palma looks up to the heaven he realizes often this fact and he smiled lucky.

Often she brings him fresh fine white breads to his working place – this year (1596) he workes in the St. Antonin Church at the little San Saba Chapel on a wide scaffolding.

Today he makes no brakes, waits till Palmina will come with her basked with fresh little breads.

At evening she will play his composition on her lute in the Palazzo Ducale on San Marco Place.

She learned all his notes by heart so she does not need to use a music score to play it.
Around midday she will make a little rehearsal for Palma in the San Saba Chapel so Palmina could feel with her heart if the tempo was correctly taken and the interpretation was perfect after Palma’s intentions.

Palma smiled as he was looking forward to hear her playing only for him in this San Antonin Church, near her flat at her mothers bakery shop on the Campo Bandiera e Moro in Venice.

And Palmina came silently in the church, Palma did not realize it, and she took her Pipa and played very soft the „Thinking on each other melody“.

Palma looked up from his big painting artwork and though „Am I dreaming, or is she really playing the Chinese Pipa lute – here in this church in Venice? – only for him – the Thinking on each other melody?“

Palma looked around in the church, if there is a saint angel playing.

* * *

Later after the evening concert Palmina came to pick Palma up.

„Palma it is too dark to paint, even with a lantern? Come Palma let us make a Gondola tour along the evening in Venice? I will play for you on your lute…“

„Oh, Yes Palmina. I will order a Gondola and will be sitting in it in 12 minutes and you can enter it in the Calle de la Pieta at the little bridge.“, Palma whispered to her and he put his painting brush down and cleaned it with terpentin.

Now he went down to order the Gondola at the bridge at Furlani which was also over the rio de la pieta like the bridge where they will meet.

As Palma entered the Gondola  he thought the words „..till we meet us again at the bridge…“

The Gondola started along the Rio de la Pieta and Palma il Giovane felt like Marco Polo who is taking his Chinese princess in the Chinese city Suzhou the so called „Venice of the East“

Palmina entered now the Gondola, coming from her evening concert, wearing a beautiful expensive Renaissance cloth, which Palma bought her once.

After a while both had the same Peony Gondola Vision.
Palma transformed into Marco Polo and Palmina transformed into the Chinese Princess.

Palmina felt that Palma is dreaming from the century of Marco Polo without saying a word.

Yes they could see the Water City Suzhou, which is known as the Venice of the East.
There they have also water streets like in Venice. How amazed was Marco Polo to visit this city with a Chinese chunk (like a Gondola in Venice) and he said to his Chinese princess „Oh, my princess, will you come with me to Venice? We are both from different cultures but we are learning from each other – Tell me something from your culture…“.

Palmina and Palma looked now up to the stars over Venice.
They looked now together to Sirius-Sotis.

This star you can see from the 4th of September to the 5th of May at different evening or night time.

Both remembered without saying a word that looking to these stars this makes Palma and Palmina connected between their hearts.
Even they are separated through space, maybe thousands of Miles / Kilometers they would look every day if it is possible to Sirius-Sotis to send a smile each other.

And the Chinese princess told Palma the story of the Chinese traditional Novel of the fate of Wang Hsian Ko and Wu Schuang (a Work of Xing Jian Bai (776 – 826) at the time of Tang-Emperor Te Tschung (780-805) Marco Polo listened very interested.*

And Marco Polo said „…till we met again at the bridge…“

Palma felt very touched and the story about these two loving was this:

They could see each other only A FEW MINUTES on an ANCIENT BRIDGE.
A group of fine 30 palace ladies came in carriages this way along this bridge.
Wang Hsian Ko could see her as she lifted the curtain of her carriage and she smiled to him and he smiled to her.
Then they were separated and had to wait a long time to see and speak each other again, but they always thought on each other.
Wu Shuang tried to write Wang Hsian Ko a letter, but it was very difficult.
They always thought on each other although they could not see, could not speak, could not write to each other.
Nevertheless their „heart to heart“ – connection was stronger than the fate: THEY FOUND A WAY TO EACH OTHER…
Marco Polo was touched by the fate of this deeply in their heart loving people. But then the way was open for them to go together through their life, full of love and luck.
Palma looked shortly at Palmina’s eyes. She looked also into his eyes and smiled.

suzhou-Venice of the east

picture 2 – The Marco Polo city in China Suzhou (Venice of the East)

They looked around the beautiful Water City Suzhou (picture  above) and Marco Polo counted all the bridges. They saw a lot of lanterns and light which are reflecting in the water and the atmosphere was like in Venice.

She played then again on her Pipa lute the „Spring Melody“ and had sweet innocent light red cheeks because she expressed her feelings to her beloved Marco Polo.

Later Marco Polo told her the love story of Dante and Beatrice in the „Divina Commedia“

„And there was a rose of light in the heaven they both saw in a Vision (Beatrice leads him to this vision)…“

„Oh a mystic light rose? This is interesting in my culture there are a lot of links to mystic light roses – the Lotus Rose – the Peony Rose – „The Secret of the Golden Flower“* and they are important in Buddhism, Taoism, and so fort…

* „The Secret of the Golden Flower“,
Richard Wilhelm translated this old mystic text into German Language / English

Marco Polo hold her hand and kissed her carefully, as if he wants to heal he hands (she plays a lot of time on her Pipa and has a lot of pain sometimes on her fingers:
„My Pipa- princess…“

„My Marco Polo“

„My Wu Schuang…“

„My Wang Hsian Ko…“

„Our hearts are connected…“

„Our hearts are connected…“

And during they felt to be in a Chinese Chunk they realized that they are in Venice.

And Palma holds still her hands and kissed them soft and he observed her beautiful shy shining eyes.

Slowly the Gondola moved along the San Marco Place where Palma has his flat left beside the astronomical clock house in the 2nd foor.

It is still light there because there are a lot of important special honor guests of the republic of Venice. Palmina often played (most daily) there after the evening concert as opening of the evening dinner in the big representative rooms („Palazzo“).
After that music opening ceremony Palmina was finished and could leave the event to pick up Palma from his painting work place (now in the San Saba Chapel of San Antonin).
They saw Palma’s both daughters standing at the window.
The elder Crezia, she is now 14 years old, with her younger sister Giulia, holding her on her arm like a mother.

picture 04

picture 3 – (detail) Palma’s flat in the 16th century

„Oh, look, Crezia and Giulia are at the window… Let us greet them…“, Palma said.

Palma and Palmina wanted to wave to them but it was to dark for them to see Palma and Palmina sitting in the Gondola.

„Crezia is now 14 and she takes care of Giulia like a mother. Amazing she helped everywhere, as if she is the head of the family…“, Palma explained.

„You are proud on her isn,t it? You have to paint her, hmm? Paint her also as Samaritan women at the fountain with Jesus, like you paint me once.

FILE_Immagine_Palma_il_Giovane,_Cristo_e_la_samaritana_al_pozzo,_1599

picture 4 – Palma’s doughter as model in his painting „Jesus and the Samaritan“ (1599)

You painted me once as young lady with the yellow white cloth. I am 38 and she is 14.“

„Do you remember? Once you wanted to adopt a 14 year old girl from the orphan music school „Ospedale de la Pieta“… Now you have an own 14 year old angel!
The Orphan girl sung in the famous la Pieta choir – the most famous choir in the world – and the orphan girls did expect that you will choose a girl to marry or to adopt it as daughter…“

„Yes, I remember Palmina, I remember the eyes of all the talented music orphan girls.
They looked deep into my eyes and into my heart, asking me wordless:
»Will you take one of us to marry?..Me or her, or an other girl?
… Will you take one of us to adopt as own daughter?«

– Sometimes I was not sure which feeling I should have »Like a father or a future husband ‚in spes’*)«
_______________________________________________
*) ‚in spes‘ means in ‚hope‘ to marry

Palma looked thinking a while and said „Perce no? Why not? Wei shen me bu?“ (Marco Polo once could speak Chinese language)
Palma was lucky to make these evening walks with Palmina, like it was today.
Sometimes the representative evening dinners in Palma’s flat are a little bit taking to much energy or concentration and Palma is often very tired after painting the whole day and he needs Palmina’s lute playing to be recreated from the hard working day.

Slowly the Gondola moved to the left side in direction to Giudecca Island.

„Here you lived in the Marco Polo time, do you remember, Palmina?“

„Palmina looked smiling and nodded shy… There, over there in the gardens… and we meet in the Gondola…
Often we took the Gondola like today and, and I…
…. I remember the gondola had a little bit an other design and, and an other color…“, Palmina said like a little girl.

Palma took from his bag a music score and showed it to Palmina.

Palmina holds her lantern near to Palma’s music score and was interested to look at it and it seemed that she wished nothing more than to hear Palma’s new music creation.
Her cheeks turned again light-red color and Palma could feel this.

Both had now a vision of a mystic music light flower and it was like this:

363. Pigeon in the Morning Light

363. Pigeon in the Morning Light

Yes, Palma’s painting from the year 1595 has a secret hint to the lute playing Palmina.
At this time Palma, especially the year around 1596, Palma il Giovane painted in the San Saba Chapel every day.
This morning he stood early to paint on the huge painting up, on the left side. (The painting is half circled and in front of the half circled painting on the top right side).
After a while Palma made a thinking break and put down his paintbrush.
Deep on his heart he remembered that last morning a pigeon appeared in the morning on a roof.

IMG_20200612_084522

Picture – Pigeon on san Marco Place in Venice

He thought that this is his Palmina. Yes, Palmina was able to appear for a while as Pigeon in Palma’s life to be in his near.
Palma smiled and repeated this vision in his heart because this felt so beautiful.
He felt it a golden light from heart to heart.
He layed down on the wide and long scaffolding which was in the half height of the San Saba Chapel in this St.Antonin church in Venice. (A few steps away there is Palmina’s flat and her mothers family shop: the little fine bakery shop at the Campo Bandiera e Moro.

He ate the fine little bread from their bakery shop as late breakfast.
After a while Palma smiled and looked on his right side.
The place where Palmina sits usually beside him was empty. Often she comes to pick him up after she finished her daily evening concert at the Doges Palace (Palazzo Ducale on the San Marco Place in Venice,).

Often he could feel her, deep in his heart, playing her secretly a composition of Palma at the Palazzo Ducale.

* * *

At 23 p.m. in the Peony Gondola Palma took his Mandolin and played for her his new composition for Mandolin.

Palmina smiled and dreamed this music with him and later she put her head on Palma’s side, smiled and dreamed with him the same Peony Gondola Dream:

And they continued to dream their Peony Gondola Vision in their Peony Gondola, which connects them from heart to heart:

* * *

„Palma?“, Palmina whispered.
„Hm?“
„Today is your mother’s birthday!
Look, I send you greetings for your mother with birthday wishes on facebook messanger…I want to greet her and to say that I like her Violin playing very much.“

Palma looked on his handy and opened the chat dialogue between her and him.
„Oh, the admins of the church of social media did erase your message to me, look…nothing!?
Send it again, Palmina!“

And Palmina wrote again her message and send it.

Palmas handy made a special sound, Palma looked, but nothing.

„Look they erased again your message after the handy signal told me that you send me a message…
We should communicate with Whatsap or we chat in the future, isn’t it, Palmina. Everyone says ‚facebook and e-mails are no more secure‘

I will send your greetings to mum personally. In my heart I could feel your good thoughts. I felt also that you played my compositions on your lute. So full of love and heart, thank you Palmina.
As I looked on the sky every day:
You send so much hearts on the sky…and a lot of bird messages these days…“

Palma took her hands and kissed them, so that her fingers had not so much pains because of her hard rehearsals for her concerts.

Palmina’s eyes shined and they huged tender alnd Palmina gave Palma soft kisses on his right cheek as she did every day at 23 p.m. after her time.

Picture – view of San Marco Place in Venice

And as Palma and Palmina sat on this beautiful day together again at the San Marco Place, having a nice view to the island Giorgio Magiore (Giorgio Mazor in Venetian language), Palma saw Palmina’s nice smile.
This inspires him to write 4 new parts of their Music Dialogue.
His Handy and the table made a short sound because Palmina send Palma a big heart.
But on his display it was not visible, but visible on Palmina“s Handy nevertheless.
Palmina showed him her a heart at her chat protocoll of Facbook Messanger.

Palma smiled and continued to write and it was like that:

„Look Palmina the stars at the evening sky…“

Palmina put her head on Palma’s side and Palma put his arm around her.
Later, at 23 p.m., as their souls met again in their Peony Gondola, Palmina could get the whole music score of Palma’s new music creation.

She looked very impressed at the music score and was lucky; so she hugged Palma with her whole love.

And suddenly they heard the music of this creation again and it was like that:

She gave Palma several tender kisses on his right cheek and a very long kiss on the right side, and: yes, and Palma could feel it and he smiled. It felt as if she did this for an eternal time.

„So beautiful, Palma! You touched deeply my heart. I will never forget this music inspiration, my Palma. my composer, my painter, my astronomer, my writer….“

After Palmina’s sweet compliments Palma il Giovane felt to be like an Indian Peacook.

picture 2 · Indian Peacook.jpeg

Palma felt all as if she is direct beside him in the Peony Gondola and again: there was this golden light between their hearts.

„You can play it with your instrument… you see, the instrumental parts have middle, deep and very high passages… What about playing it Violin, Piano and your Instrument for special parts?“

„Oh, I will try several parts of it on my instruments. Oh, Palma I love it so much!“

Amd again: Palma felt like an Indian Peacook and smiled.

And Palmina tried to play it on her instrument several times.

And Palma remembered that , today a bird sung in the morning in the little garden a wonderful melody.
For Palma it was a message from Palmina.
„Yes, Palma I send you a heart-to-heart message via this bird messenger!“

„…and, and, I have composed for you 4 pages of our „Dialogue, look my sweet Pigeon! “

And Palmina looked also at this music score which Palma started to compose at San Marco Place.

334. A Music heart to heart Dialogue Inspiration.

The Peony Gondola Vision continued like that:

* * *

Palmina inspired Palma il Giovane to continue his music Dialogue.

Palmina was lucky and she sent him via Messenger (Facebook) a heart.

Palma’s handy made a sound.
Palma looked on his handy: „Oh, Palmina you send me something…“

Palmina showed him her handy with the heart on her chat protocol on her handy display.

„Oh, such a nice and such a big heart. Oh, thank you, my Pigeon! I received it deep in my heart.“

Palmina continued to write the next parts and as he finished part 5+6 Palmina sent again a heart and Palma’s handy made again a short sound.

Palmina smiled shy and showed him again her 2nd heart on her handy.

Palma smiled as he saw the heart on her handy and continued to write part 7+ 8.

Palmina again waited till he finished writing his music creation part 7+8.

Then she send today her 3rd heart to him.

Again Palma heard a sound on his handy from her heart-message.

Again he had a warm feeling around his inner heart.

The most important thing was that every time Palma could feel this deep in his heart and it makes him lucky and gives him inspiration to continue their „Dialogue“.

Two pigeons flew about them and both smiled.
Palma took her hand and kissed her talented hands to bless them.

The Pigeons beside them on San Marco Place made softly „Groo.Groooo, Groooooo“

Palmina smiled and wanted now to have a look on the music scores part 5-8 and it was like that:

333. Time-inspirations at Art

In the morning Palma heard in the little garden the two Pigeons speaking in their language.

He smiled and thought on his Pigeon.

And later at 23 p.m. as their souls met together the Peony Gondola moved soft again the 21st century at that day they went along Venice to see the Chiesa Santa Maria della Salute and they saw this:

Palmina and Palma are going along the big Promenade. Left they saw the church which was not there in the 16th century.

„Palma ?“

What is the intention of your creation „Cosmic Clock? Are there also intentions to your rememberings on your Uncles’s Mars Mission. Do you also describe the time of peace and good weather for the Astronauts in the first months on Mars…?“

Palma was thinking about the different  meanings a composition has.

„There are a lot of meanings…“, he answered.

Palmina wanted to know:“..I also thought by myself how important are time-windows… I mean the Astronauts did not expect the huge thunderstorm… Only your uncle and his colleague survived the storm because they where on secure places…“

After a while of silence Palmina and Palma turned right to have a tea or a coffee on San Marco Place.

„I think the whole world has a time window to act to do good thinks using their free will…“

Palma started to write again on the Dialogue and it was like that:

Palma was lucky and she gave him a short tender kiss on his left cheek on the line between and his ear and his nose.

Palma smiled and he could feel this.

325. Palma and Palmina in the 21st century

325. Palma and Palmina in the 21st century

»Oh, Palma. I love your creations so much. Thank you for the music score!«

»Today the birds told me in the little garden that you wrote something to me. Are they right telling me?«

»Yes, Palma. I wrote you, but it seems that someone erased my message to you!«

Suddenly the Peony Gondola moved in the 21st century and both looked interested with wide open eyes and they saw themselves in the 21st century in Venice.

»Oh, Palma. Look. We are in Venice in the 21st century. Woooh! Look. You and me in Venice!«, Palmina said like a young girl.

Palma bites also soft on his lower lip on the side.

»Yes, You and Me. You and Me in Venice…«

Palmina puts her head on Palma’s side and Palma puts his strong arm around her.

And they saw now this:

* * *

They are wondering about the way the people are dressed in the 21st century and about so much tourists there.

Palma il Giovane and Palmina Albina are going on the San Marco Place, side-by-side, hand in hand.

Both smiled and Palmina looked up to the big flat in the 2nd floor, which is left beside the building of the beautiful astronomic clock.

Palma observed this and smiled to Palmina.

»Who is now living in this flat, Palma?«, Palmina wanted to know.

»Hm, it is over 400 years ago. Maybe there is a museum…«

And Palmina touched Palma’s right arm and said: »Look, on the left side…«

»Oh…where is…?«, Palma said wondering.

»The little church? Where is it? We often met there in the 15th and 16th century to meet for a secret walk…«

»…Oh, really. They removed it in the last centuries…
But there are a few new churches which had been build. The Maria de la Salute between San Marco Place and the Island Giudecca! So beautiful!!!!
We have to have a little look to see which paintings are there, maybe some from me?«

basilica-san-marcos.jpg

picture 1 – Goldenn Heaven in the Basilica San Marco in Venice

»Oh, my painter. Whole Venice is full of your paintings…I am so proud of you. Let’s go now in the San Marco Cathedral with the golden heaven!«

And they turned now to the right side, they had a short look up to the old flat of Palma and they had a short look on the astronomical clock – Palma explained her how the clock works and how to read the time.

»Oh, Palma…I already know how to read this 24 hour clock and how it shows us the sun and the moon in the zodiac. I did not forget this although it is over 400 years ago…«

Both had to laugh and they turned again to the right side to go to the Basilica San Marco.

14a (12).JPG

picture 2 – Venice, Basilica San Marco

After they looked like tourists the beautiful golden church they sat down on 2 chairs to have a short rest.

Palmina took her handy and showed Palma her Messenger chat protocol.

»Look, Palma. This I send to you during the last time as you send me your music score ‚Planets at the evening sky‘ for Pipa solo…«

Palma looked interested and observed that his messages did not appear on Palmina’s handy not even the sentence „…I hope you are well…“

„Look today I send you a smiley 🙂 …“

„Oh I did not get your smiley… 😦
But deep in my heard I felt that you send me a smile to my heart.“

„And Look, Palma: Here I recorded your music creation ‚Planets on the evening sky‘ on my I-Phone and a send it to you via facebook Messenger, Here do you see this?…“

„Yes, Palmina. Also this I did feel in my heart. And I never received your audio file. The Administrators blocked our communication.
So I played lonely on my mandolin the higher part of the Pipa solo…As I felt it in my heart if you would perform it for me….“

„Oh, now I understand. YOU played the Mandolin part on your Youtube-posting… But who played the Piano part and the Viola part? “

Palmina looked smiling into Palma’s eyes and Palma smiled also and there was it again: the golden light between their hearts which connects them so strong and over big distances.

„Palmina, I played the Piano part and I played the Viola part. I recorded them separately lonely playing…Multi-track-recording this is called…A lot of people are doing this on You-tube…“

Palmina seemed now to be very, very happy and she smiled like the rising sun at spring-time.

Palma could feel it: Palmina wants to jump in the high to express her luckiness.

„So you performed this for me, playing three different music instrument: Mandolin, Piano and Viola? “

„Yes, the same I made with my composition »L’Assunta« – I recorded both: Piano and Mandolin. Look here on Youtube I posted it. This was my first inspiration after you asked me to compose something new after the DGPA Conference in Luxemburg, years ago.
Listen to it – Did you ever get this video?“

And Palma send her via messenger this video-Link but on her I-Phone on facebook-Messenger there was no Message.

„Oh, really our communication is blocked and look they send you in your name a facebook-tumb-up-symbol…“

„Oh, really they are writing also textes in your name and in my name – this is FAKE-MESSSAGE. This is forbidden in the European Union. The Administrators would get punishment of 10 years of imprisonment if we make a report them creating FAKE-MESSAGE!“

„Oh, they are criminals – trying to isolate people from their normal communication and social environment… How we could stay in contact, Palma in the future? With Whatsapp? Wechat? Telegram? Signal?“

„Yes, yes we should use all this at the same time but, no more facebook Messenger – it does not work correctly since years. We should also have phone-calls. And try to send me your recorded audio-files via www.wetransfer.com

„Oh, Wetransfer… A good Idea!“

„You can upload for free up any type of files up to 2 Gigabite (2GB = 2000 MB) you enter your e-mail address and mine: gerald.spitzner@gmx.net ad select the files and click on upload“

„Yes ok, you gave me your mail-address years ago and you also did not get any e-mail from me??? – It was blocked isn,t it?“

“ Hm…Here is the Video of the first composition which you asked me to compose for you.¹)
Palmina took the headphones of Palma’s handy and listened.
Palmina smiled and observed the music score video on Palma’s handy.

* * *

And as Palmina saw this Peony Gondola Vision she hugged Palma and gave him several cheek kissed.

And Palma could feel it and smiled lucky.

After that they saw this:

Palmina looked up at the golden San Marco Church to the choir of the Organ on the left side:

„This Organ was build in the year 1972. I often played on her and gave concerts with own compositions often at the „Three holy Kings-Day“ at the 6th January every year. As I was young I studied also there at Master Maestro Micconi. I was his Master Student. He played the organ and conducted the Choir of San Marco for years there. Maybe he hoped that I will stay in Venice and move from Vienna to Venice…I composed a lot of music for the concerts there…“

Palmina has innocent light red cheeks and Palma looking up to the golden choir. She tries to imagine: Her Palma il Giovane, making music there on that Organ, build from the year 1972. How was the sound of these concerts. Palmina dreamed a little bit and Palma said:

„I made a few videos, photos, Minidisc-audio recordings of these concerts there from the 90ies and later. Since my childhood I gave concerts there with children orchestra of my mother at the La Pieta, every years. Venice is like my home city…“

„Oh, you gave concerts at the La Pieta – Ospedale de la Pieta at the Orphan Girls shelter, which was once the worlds most famous girls orchestra 400 and 300 years ago?“

„Yes, Palmina. You have been there also a music teacher at the talented girls orchestra and choir. I composed a lot of music for these orphan girls. I was like a father for them. They expected always new compositions from me…“

„Do you remember it?“

„Yes, Palma how can I forget such wonderful music social projects. If there had not been so much intrigues by this Cardinal Hell. He is now at prison…“

Palmina gave Palma a soft cheek kiss and Palma gave her also a shy cheek kiss.

„Come, let us take a Gondola and visit the Campo Bandiera e Moro. Let us see if there is still a baker’s shop and buy some fresh white, little, fine Palmina-breads – which are only available in Venice!“

Palma and Palmina took a Gondola and the Gondola took her Way along the big Promenade in the south-east direction where the sun is rising every morning very beautiful.

Palmina put her head on Palma’s left shoulder and took Palma’s hand and he could feel it and was lucky.

„Palma?“

„Hmmm?“

„…can you explain me once more: How did you record yourself playing Mandolin, Piano and Viola at the same audio recording – What is Multi-Track-Recording…Hmmm?“

Palma put his right arm around his innocent Pigeon and smiled.

„Look, First I recorded the whole Pipa solo ‚Planets at the evening sky‘ lonely on my Piano at home….“

Palmina smiled and put her head near to Palma’s heart to hear it beating, beating for her and listened like a Music Master Student.
She feel so secure sitting with Palma in the Gondola.

„…and after that I listen to my recording using the headphones.
During this I record myself with the Mandolin to have the same tempo like the Piano-track – the Master Track.
Then I listen again to the Piano part and I play the Viola part using the headphones. I also have to take the same tempo like my Piano recording.
So and after that I have synchronize these three tracks together to mix them to one audio file.
Later I make the video-recording and put the audio-track…“

She likes to hear him explaining something like a teacher.
She likes to hear his voice.
She smiled stronger and was lucky.

Palmina remembers now more and more their time of the 15th and 16th century.

And they continued to dream their Peony Gondola Vision and they saw this:

picture 1 – view of the different places where composer Gabrieli and composer Monteverdi placed his several choirs (often 3 or 4) and instrumental groups within the same composition in this San Marco Cathedral in Venice

After Cousine Mihaela sung so beautiful her Sopran Aria, Master Gabrieli stood up from the Organ to conduct several Choirs.

They sung also a composition of Gabrieli composed for several choirs and instrument groups, standing at different positions in the Church Basilica San Marco in Venice.

»It sounds to be like in heaven!«, Giulia, Palma’s younger daughter said.
Palma was lucky that his daughter’s are interested in arts and music. Giulia is also making progress in her study of painting in the Titian academy.
Giulia is finishing Palma’s painting with landscapes, trees, the buildings etc… in the background part of his paintings.
Palma smiled to his Giulia proud.

From all directions, from up left and from up right, there is coming choir- and ensemble music.

»Did Master Gabrieli compose this music piece for 4 choirs, standing on 4 different positions in our golden Basilica?«, Palma thought and looked around the golden Basilica to find the place where the musicians are making wonderful music.

During the music he begun to think about the recent private concert in Palma’s flat with its big private concert hall: »Hm, Heinrich Schütz could play the Harpsichord at this concert… Hm, hm, and Palmina could play the Lute part…
…at the actual performance of Claudio Monteverdi’s¹) L’Orfeo²) in our palace on San Marco Place, in the 2nd floor.
There will be special honour guests of our republic of Venice.
Hm, hm, hm,… and if Claudio Monteverdi says that he is a brilliant musician, then I can tell this positive words about Schütz as musician to Master Gabrieli at our next tea time meeting…«, Palma thought silent and smiled.

Palmina smiled because she also thinks »That is a good idea, Palma…«

»..how can I make Heinrich Schütz to be not only Master Gabrieli’s music student, but to be his Master Student?
Maybe with this idea…!«, Palma il Giovane thought.

There are a lot of music students coming with money to study in Venice, to study music or to study painting; but to be a Master student, this is a big privilege.

You have not only to be a very, very good music student, you have to be also choosen by the Master himself.

* * *

As they saw this Peony Gondola Vision, Palmina and Palma sat beside in the Peony Gondola at 23 p.m.

Palma could feel that Palmina’s left hand ring finger is painful because of doing rehearsal so much.

Palma took her left hand and kissed her tender and soft to heal her hand and her ring finger.

Palmina smiled shy and her pain was gone.

»Palmina?«

»Hm?«

»You are preparing a new concert?«

»Yes, Palma, my Master. I want also to play a composition of you in my next concert and I send you a messenger to inform you.
Hm, but it seems that the Administrators of the church of social media have stolen my letter to you…«

»Palmina…« and he kissed her hand again soft and tender, full of love and light, full of golden light, »…in my heart I felt your positive thoughts towards me. In the nature a little bird sung a melody from you and I listened to the bird lucky. I am very lucky that you want to play a composition of me.«

»…you remembered that Master Lao said to you 1000 years ago that we will met again… I give you from now on your old name Mia. I was your Master once and I was your…«

Palmina smiled and hugged suddenly his old Master and said with her soft voice:
»Oh, Master. We have now the chance to work together in inspirative way as artists and you have given me back my old name: Mia«

»Yes, Mia!
Si certo, mia dolcissima Mia!«

»Oh, my old Master P…«

»Psst, don’t say my name!«, Palma said fast.

»Oh, wo de dà shi G…«

»Psst, don’t say my name!«, Palma said also fast.

»Oh, mio maestro Palma il Giovane!«

And Palma hugged her now stronger and both had tears in their eyes.

Now they saw suddenly Master Lao on heaven and he showed them a interesting Vision about the century of Mia (before Lao tze came to the West); the moment as Xuan Ming was choosen as Master Student of Lao tse and his personal writing-secretary and his personal taking-care-of him-secretary:

¹) Claudio Monteverdi (1567 – 1643) – Wikipedia – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claudio_Monteverdi

»Claudio Giovanni Antonio Monteverdi (15 May 1567 (baptized) – 29 November 1643) was an Italian composer, string player and choirmaster. A composer of both secular and sacred music, and a pioneer in the development of opera, he is considered a crucial transitional figure between the Renaissance and the Baroque periods of music history.«

»[…] Monteverdi’s early musical training, or evidence that (as is sometimes claimed) he was a member of the Cathedral choir […]. Monteverdi’s first published work, a set of motets, Sacrae cantiunculae (Sacred Songs) for three voices, was issued in VENICE in 1582, when he was only fifteen years old.«

²) »L’Orfeo – Wikipedia – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L%27Orfeo
L’Orfeo, sometimes called La favola d’Orfeo [la ˈfaːvola dorˈfɛːo], is a late Renaissance/early Baroque favola in musica, or opera, by Claudio Monteverdi, with a libretto by Alessandro Striggio. It is based on the Greek legend of Orpheus, and tells the story of his descent to Hades and his fruitless attempt to bring his dead bride Eurydice back to the living world. It was written in 1607 for a court performance during the annual Carnival at Mantua. While Jacopo Peri’s Dafne is generally recognised as the first work in the opera genre, and the earliest surviving opera is Peri’s Euridice, L’Orfeo is the earliest that is still regularly performed.«

After they saw this music Peony Gondola Vision they continued to dream:

* * *

At Epiphany, the 6th of January they reached with their Peony Gondola the San Marco Place, they went over the long place to go in the Basilica San Marco.

A lot of people, living in Venice are invited to attend this annual feast celebration on 6th of January, even if they are from an other cultural tradition.
The feast of the traditional Epiphany feast is about the 3 holy kings, which had not been Christians or Catholics.

Also the Ming Dynasty Chinese People are here to show their respect to the culture of the republic of Venice.

During the annuals traditional Christmas ceremony from the left side, up at the choir, Palma’s Cousine Mihaela stood with a music score in her hand.

She will sing today the Aria „Benedictus“ composed by Giacomo Palma il Giovane.

This time Palmina had nothing to play in the church with her lute, now they can listen to the music and enjoy the magic moment, sitting beside her Palma.

On the Organ Master Giovanni Gabrieli is sitting, a famous world wide known composer. organist and Choir Master of the Basilica San Marco.
And now he gives the sign to start the music composition of Palma.

Mihaela sung very beautiful and full of heart.
Palma looked up to her cousin and was proud on her.
Palmina smiled also, sitting on Palma’s right side and was proud of her Palma, the most famous painter in Venice , her composer, her writer, her astronomer, her philosopher, her director of the famous Venice Titian School.
On the left side was sitting Crezia and her sister Giulia.

Giulia listened to the music very interested and she was also proud of her daddy Palma and his cousine Mihaela.
Crezia, which was the elder sister, looked also short shy to a man, also sitting in this golden church.

Giulia observed this. The young man was also smiling back shy to Crezia. He is nearly in the age of Crezia.
The man was the new music student Heinrich Schütz¹) from Germany.

Today he was visiting Palma’s flat in the 2nd floor on the San Marco Place to have tea time with Palma’s family:

Signore Schütz will study for 3 years in Venice at Master Giovanni Gabrieli ²).
At first he will play the Harpsicord at the Venice Titian Art Gallery, together with the most famous musicians of Venice – a lot of them are known in the whole world.
It is a big honour to play as student with these famous artists here in Venice in the Venice-Titian-Art-Gallery.

Signore Schütz is coming from Germany and he wants to bring the Venetian music tradition to Germany.

Palma smiled as he saw how lucky his daughter Crezia is looking in the direction to Signore Schütz.
At tea he also felt that there is a special harmony between them.
»Maybe, who knows…«, Palma thought silent, »…he will stay not only for 3 years here in Venice. Master Gabrieli is searching for a Master Student…
and maybe he and Crezia, hm, two artists…she is my painting student and he the musician.
He is a Sympathetic young men who would become my sun-in-law.
Hm…why not…he is a good composer and musician…he will save the Venetian music tradition….«

Now they looked up to listen Mihaela singing the Aria for Sopra in this Golden Cathedral.

The Original Version of this »Benedictus« Aria is for Sopran, Violin and Viola and Choir. ( There is also an additionally Mandolin part).
